The Linksys SPA3102 features the ability to connect standard telephones to Ace VoIP. The SPA3102 also supports PSTN failover meaning if power is lost to the unit or Internet is unavailable, calls can be redirected to a traditional carrier via the FXO interface.

The SPA3102 supports one RJ-11 POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) FXS port to connect an existing analogue phone. The SPA3102 also supports one PSTN FXO port to connect to a traditional telecommunications supplier. The SPA3102 includes 2 Ethernet ports, one port to connect to a home or office LAN and one port for connection to a broadband modem or router.
